IMPRESSION
IMPRESSION is the name of a fundraiser held at the Vancouver Island School of Art in May 2007. Renowned Victoria artist the late Flemming Jorgensen donated 100 prints. Each image was conceived specifically as a print and realized using etching, screenprinting, and lithography alone or in combination yielding rich colours and textures. All prints are for sale at the special price of $200. Proceeds from the sale of these prints are put towards establishing a fully-equipped printmaking studio at VISA. To date we have purchased a brand new Ettan Etching Press and various equipment and supplies to start the printmaking program.
